I built HSA Trackr because every HSA comparison I could find led with the provider that paid the highest commission, not the one I would actually open. Fidelity does not run an affiliate program. Most of the top-ranking review sites bury Fidelity below the providers that do. That asymmetry is the entire reason this site exists.
I am not a CFP, CFA, or CPA. What I am is a long-term HSA holder, a builder, and someone who reads the IRS publications cover to cover so the next reader does not have to. Every number on this site is sourced to the original IRS pub or revenue procedure. Every provider review is independent of whether the provider pays us - and the page that proves it lives at /how-we-make-money.
If you find a mistake, an outdated rule, or a number that disagrees with the IRS, email me. I will correct it within 48 hours and stamp the page with the new review date.
How I write, review, and correct this site
Independent HSA research since 2024
Reviews are not coordinated with HSA providers and do not change based on affiliate status.
IRS primary sources cited inline
Every contribution limit, deductible, and qualified-expense claim links to the originating Publication 969, 502, or Rev. Proc.
48-hour error correction policy
Reader-flagged errors are corrected within two business days and the page review date is reset.
What I am not
I am not a Certified Financial Planner, Certified Public Accountant, or attorney. HSA Trackr does not give tax, legal, or financial advice tailored to your situation. The reference material here is sourced to the IRS and is accurate as of the review date stamped on each page, but you should check with a credentialed professional before making a tax or contribution decision that materially affects your return.
