Our records promise
Your HSA records should outlive any app.
There is no deadline to reimburse yourself from an HSA, so a receipt may need to prove an expense twenty years from now. HSA providers merge, apps close, and portals drop old files. So the records you keep here are always yours to take, in formats that work without us.
Your whole shoebox, free to take
On every plan, including Free, you can download the proof archive: your original receipts, payment proof, EOBs and letters, with a manifest of every expense, reimbursement and document. Large shoeboxes download one year at a time.
Formats that work without us
The archive is plain CSV files that open in any spreadsheet, plus the original PDFs and photos you saved. Nothing in it needs HSA Trackr to read. CSV export is free too.
Leave whenever you like
Cancel a paid plan and your records stay in your account on the free plan. You can keep adding to them or export and go.
Notice before any shutdown
If HSA Trackr ever shuts down, we will email every account at least 90 days ahead and keep export working until the last day.
Delete means delete
You can delete your account and its data from Settings at any time. Export first if you want to keep a copy.
Private by default
Receipts are stored privately and shown to you through short-lived links. We don't sell your records.
Keep a copy outside any app
Whatever you use, download your records once a year and keep them with your tax files. In HSA Trackr that is Export, then Proof-ready record archive. Prefer to keep everything yourself? The HSA Shoebox Workbook imports back into the app whenever you want.
